CryoParts Custom Wire

Here, we will showcase some of our custom wire/OEM work. Not all of our work will be displayed here, as most of my clients prefer to keep quiet about who they have design and source their wire/cable from, and I respect their wishes.

I am happy to design, and have manufactured, a wire and/or cable for your company, if needed. I have access to vendors that many others don't, and can get runs of wire manufactured that are not only from the best materials available, but also use my proprietary methods. And, they can be surprisingly affordable in large runs.

If you need a run of wire and/or cable designed and made up in 5000+ meter lots, please contact me for more details. Some wire/cable can be made in smaller lots (2000+ meters) as well, but that is something best discussed via e-mail.

Below is a wire that I designed and had manufactured for my own use, and the use of Whiplash Audio . Any other company claiming to be using TWag is not being truthful and is not authorized as a OEM, or dealer, for TWag. To reiterate, TWag is not for sale, this page is here for the use of those who may be interested in my design services, and as a reference for Whiplash Audio and myself to refer to.

We are proud to introduce a VERY special custom wire, CryoParts "The Wire; Silver". "The Wire; Silver", or "TWag" is a CFDCT-UP-OCC stranded silver wire that sets a new standard of performance.

Everything about "TWag" is custom; the extraordinarily high strand count, the custom formulated LL-PE dielectric, the silver used (CF-DCT-UPOCC) and the cryo profile used to treat it (our proprietary CryoFreeze™ process).

I designed this wire to be the finest stranded silver wire available, bar none, and the results were even beyond my very high expectations. The two plus years of time, money, and frustration expended in development of TWag were well worth it.

TWag is a true bespoke wire and is only available direct from CryoParts and the only authorized OEM at this time, Whiplash Audio. This wire will not be available in bulk form for quite some time, as it is meant strictly for finished products from CryoParts and Whiplash Audio. Perhaps sometime in the future, I will offer it to DIY'ers, however, expect it to be quite some time (and expect the price to be VERY high) before that happens.

Following is some basic information regarding the base silver we are using for this wire (although the info below mentions copper, the silver used in TWag is processed the same way):

The base metal used is an unidirectional UPOCC, being almost free from impurity (up to 99.99998% pure silver) has ideal electrical resistance properties and practically no crystal boundaries. Accordingly, it is able to transmit electrical signals faster, and with less distortion than ordinary OFC and silver wires. All of these features make the pure OCC silver the state-of-the art conductor materials for the audiophile cable industry.

However, don't be fooled, this is no ordinary OCC silver wire (IF you can even find stranded OCC silver) that can be found at many different places around the 'net in solid core form, "TWag" is quite a different animal, indeed, in that the "whole" is much greater than the sum of the parts.
