Schurter IEC's Deep cryogenically treated Schurter 4300.0603. A great IEC end for DIY power cords. 16 gauge and smaller works well, 14 gauge is a little more difficult to fit in the "wire grips" and 12 gauge is an exercise in frustration (although many have done it). In our opinion, the best sounding small bodied IEC available, at a bargain price! $17.25/ea.
 Deep cryogenically treated Schurter 4781.0100. These IEC's are favored by many for DIY power cord recipes. They will comfortably accommodate 14 gauge wire, and 12 gauge has been used by many people. Easier to work with than the 4300. $11.25/each.  Deep cryogenically treated Schurter 4735.0000. Don't want to open up you gear, but want to replace those horrible captive AC cords on your components? Here's the answer. Wire in this IEC in-line receptacle and use the power cable of your choice. Also useful for breaking in power cables. $14.75/each
 Deep cryogenically treated Schurter 4784 right angle IEC. Essentially a Schurter 4781 with a right angle bend in it. Nice if lacking in space behind your components. $11.25/each. |
