Spade Connectors

Deep cryogenically treated pure OFC spades. These are available in bare un-plated copper, direct silver plate over OFC, or direct gold plate over OFC.

These Luminous Audio OFC custom manufactured spades are stepped so they will accommodate 6-8 mm posts, and will accept up to 10 gauge wire. Crimping and soldering is highly recommended, however, if you have a heavy duty commercial/industrial grade crimper (at least a Greenlee or Klein), a good crimp can be accomplished, and no soldering is necessary. But, be aware, these are heavy duty spades, and a hobby grade crimper will NOT do the job.

Furutech FP-201 spade lugs. These are beautifully made spade connectors. Unique 4 step plating process--Copper/Silver/Copper/24k Gold. Demagnetised and cryogenically treated by Furutech.

Very easy to work with and look GREAT on the end of your cables. No soldering is necessary (unless you want to) as these employ a trick set of Torx screws which can be tightened down onto the bare wire, making a secure connection.

Deep cryogenically treated Vampire BAR and BAR8 spade connectors. Gold plated spades made from a base of pure Copper and designed for barrier strips or older standard binding posts. Crimp the connector to 10-12 gauge cable (BAR), or 8 -10 gauge (BAR 8), or solder if you wish. The left item pictured is the BAR8, the right the BAR.
